My parents were opera singers, I grew up in a Latin American setting, and I performed with a symphony orchestra at the age of 13. I have taught piano to students of all levels and ages. I am an encouraging teacher, but I help my students set realistic goals (and stretch goals!) that keep them motivated to progress in their musicianship. How our lessons progress really depends on the student in question. If they would like to pursue competitions, I am well equipped to help.
