I began assisting teachers during high school for extra credit. It later became my job during Full Sail. I worked extensively with grades K-5 on reading, writing and math skills enrichment. My teaching experience starts 6 years ago when I started teaching marching band in Douglasville, Ga. I marched baritone with Spirit of Atlanta in 2013 and 2014. As time progressed, I started to teach music with local schools through Georgia State University and private connections as either a section coach or a private instructor. My private studio, with brass students, has been running for about two years now. Once my younger students have progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I begin to introduce solo repertoire that is appropriate for their first recital performance.
