For the last 2 years I have been teaching private lessons at an elementary school and have been teaching group lessons when asked. During the fall I also have been a low brass technician for a local marching band. Finally I have played in many pit performances for local high schools. These opportunities have taught me a lot about being a teacher and a musician. Hello! I have been professional musician and educator since 2015 in Central and Southeast Pennsylvania. In 2018, I graduated from Millersville University with a B.A. in Trombone performance. I then enlisted into the United States Marine Corps band as a trombone instrumentalist, where I served active duty for four years. While I had spent my first year playing trumpet, I had switched to euphonium before I started my 6th grade year and have been playing that and trombone ever since. I have spent the past three years living in Miami where I completed my Masters Degree in music education. During this time I was an active trumpet player in south Florida playing with orchestras, brass bands, jazz groups, and quite regularly latin bands due to the popularity of salsa/latin styles in that region. My Bachelors degree was completed in 2006 at the Univeristy of Delware. I completed their music teacher preparation program, participating in both educational studies and a wide range of music ensembles including wind band, brass choir, marching band, and jazz band.  Read More
