I started my teaching career as a private instructor as soon as I entered the Conservatory. Not even two years later, I was appointed to the faculty of the UC Berkeley Young Musician's Program. The Young Musician's Program is designed to offer music and academic private lessons to gifted an underprivileged children. I've been teaching private trumpet lessons since I was in high school. I taught beginner and intermediate elementary and middle school students in my spare time. In college I taught students of all levels, ages, and backgrounds including advanced high school and college students and adult beginners. I always my encourage my students to pick music they like to play alongside the music I assign. I graduated from St. Mary's college in 2006 with a BA of performing arts. I am currently playing with the Walnut Creek Concert Band and The Community Womens Orchestra.
