I'm a passionate and dedicated teacher who loves working with students of all ages and levels. I completed my Doctor of Musical Arts Degree from the University of Southern California in 2009, and since then I have been an active teacher and performer all over Southern California. I have performed at many different venues across the Los Angeles area, including the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl, and have appeared with many different groups including the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the New World Symphony in Miami Beach, Florida. I have been playing professionally since 2018, with performances all over LA ranging from jazz combos to salsa bands. I also have notable performances such as opening for The Marias (2018), and recording trombone for BTS on their hit song, "ON" (2019). I also am a strong composer that focuses on as many genres as I play. I believe all musicians should be well rounded and be aware of the business and how to actually pursue this as a career. After I first received my Bachelor's Degree from CSU Fullerton, I opted to showcase my original music through distinct outlets. I've played trombone for eleven years and have stuck with it for love of the instrument. I attended the LA County High School for the Art for three years, through which time I became serious about learning music. I went on to earn the Bob Cole Conservatory Scholarship at CalState Long Beach. My favorite courses were Brass Chamber Music and my various music history courses.
