In 2015, I graduated from The Juilliard School with my Bachelor of Music degree, and went on to obtain two Master of Music degrees from The Yale School of Music. In 2020, I graduated from UMass Lowell with a Bachelor’s in Music Studies. In 2022, I graduated with a Master’s in Music Education. My teaching experience starts even while I was in high school. I would volunteer to help the middle school band students to coach them and get them ready for competitions. I also volunteered with the Seattle Music Partners where we went into schools that lost their music program and we taught students after school as their only means of connection to this art in schools. While in college I was a co-coordinator and participant in a Music Mentor Program where we took college students and matched them with students from the local middle school in Oberlin. Read More

I try to strike a balance between encouraging enjoyment and inspiring the desire to work hard. It's important to me that my students set ambitious and realistic goals, taking care not to burn out and always to enjoy what they are doing. While playing music means something different for everybody, excellence is something that everybody is capable of. I don't believe in talent to the extent most people do.
