After graduating from college I joined the Peace Corps. I spent 2 years in Tehran, Iran playing in the Tehran Symphony Orchestra. I returned to the U.S. and went back to school to get my Masters degree. I worked as a music teacher in the Bronx, N.Y. for several years. After that I worked at an electronic music studio in Hawthorne, N.Y. The studio eventually shut down and I began teaching Band at the Stamford Public Schools where I taught music at the elementary, middle and high school levels. Read More

I hold a Master's Degree in Trumpet Performance from Long Island University C.W Post and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education K-12 from Manhattanville College. I am in my third year as the Director of local High School Marching Band as well as a sitting member of the New York State Field Band Conference Executive Council as a Representative. Prior to this, I had performed in a variety of marching ensembles which include: The Tappan Zee Bridgeman, Featured soloist with the Hawthorne Caballeros Drum and Bugle Corps, Featured soloist with the West Sayville Golden Eagles Mini Corps, and a member of the Syracuse Brigadiers Drum and Bugle Corps.
