From 2020 - present, every summer I have been teaching at the Hilton Head Jazz Camp. This jazz camp is a week-long intensive learning experience. Jazz musicians from all over the U.S. come to teach at the camp and help the students learn about jazz. In this camp I had the responsibility of teaching theory, improvisation, sight reading, and musicality with playing. I began assisting teachers during high school for extra credit. It later became my job during Full Sail. I worked extensively with grades K-5 on reading, writing and math skills enrichment. When I graduated I started to see my joy was working with children and helping each individual get to their own "next level" and that is when I began teaching music privately. I encourage my students to enter competitions and recitals of which I help with the prep for and can conduct them there if need be.  Read More
