My teaching experience spans 6 years. I've taught all ages, so I'm comfortable with everybodys learning pace. In college I studied under the Latin Grammy award winning La Catrina Quartet, and I hope to pass down the knowledge I gain from that experience to my students. I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and began my musical studies on viola at the age 4. I graduated from Baylor University in 2013. Marcela started teaching violin and viola when she was 18 years of age at Cartago's School of Music and the University of Costa Rica. Later on she created her private studio when she arrived in Texas in 2007 after finishing her music studies, which she continues to do until the present day .
