While enjoying all school music activities I was selected to join in honor county and state orchestras and choirs. In junior high and high school I was selected to play for the Junior Pacific Symphony Orchestra, received scholarships to music summer camps, and was selected musician of the year. If you can play scales well, then you're off to a good start! You may very well be able to learn new music faster and play the pieces better! I won the orchestral composition award for Rutgers Annual Orchestra Day in June of 2016 and was ranked in the top percentile of the Marvin Hamlisch film scoring competition on a global level, which was judged by Oscar- winning composer Mychael Danna.
