For younger students (less than 5), I think Suzuki method would probably work best! I'm a passionate and motivated teacher who loves working with students and sharing my love for music. I had the opportunity to study under Dr. Alberto Jaffe, world renowned violinist, and Dr. John Wilcox. I had the opportunity to play several years in multiple orchestras during my college years and multiple ensembles, as well as playing for several smaller groups around town for special services. I am not Suzuki-certified, however my teaching style does include a mix of Suzuki and independent materials. I like to teach music theory skills concurrently with technical lessons so that students can reinforce their practical training. I find that this makes the process more enjoyable, whether for young learners or adult students. Read More

I encourage my students to work toward different goals that we set up in the beginning of their lessons. Read More

I also taught choir students, and I taught private piano and string students on the side. Read More
