I employ a very eclectic, rotating repetoire. For beginning violin students, I use the Suzuki method of ear-training, however I am not married to that curriculum. I prefer to use beginning Suzuki materials in tandem with standard American folk and pop music, in accordance to the student's interests. My mother was a piano teacher for over 30 years with contagious passion for music and her students, so with training in perfect pitch, sight-reading, and other musicianship skills, I began performing solo and in ensembles. I'm a recent graduate of Syracuse University, with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Industry. I have played both the violin and piano since the age of four. Some of the greatest memories I have can be attributed to my experiences in music. In high school, I was able to tour Germany, the Czech Republic, and Austria with my school's symphony orchestra.
