I have taught students on and off since 2013. Since then, my studio has grown. I now teach over a half dozen students of all ages piano and voice. I personalize each lesson to suit a student's desires and needs. One of my favorite things to do is to try to figure out what type of learner a student is. Songs are chosen depending on the student's area of interest, ranging from classical, opera, musical theater, pop and more. Students are taught how to expand their range, improve tone, proper breath support and how to produce a tone that is healthy and natural. Anyone can learn to sing but there are so many significant factors that most teachers forget to include in their training. After graduating from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts (concentration in Creative Writing and Jazz Studies) in 2005, I have spent the past 17 years helping hundreds of private students of all ages, ability levels, backgrounds, and styles discover their musical voice on their chosen instrument.
