These questions will help drive my teaching of the student and helps me design lessons that will help them grow. (Piano adventures, Alfred, Faber and Faber, ect) For piano we always do Theory , Technic, and go through a song book which will take you gradually through the levels and correspond the Theory and technique lessons. The material I teach covers scales, chords, and music theory. We can practice a variety of exercises that help improve your rhythm and dexterity. In order to tie everything together, I think it is important to play music with each other and along with recorded music as an example. Admittedly, the content of scales, chords, and music theory in itself can be dry. This is why I tend to customize how to practice something like a pentatonic minor scale. Read More

In 2011, I graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelors degree in Vocal Performance and in 2014, I graduated from the University of Louisville with a Masters degree in Vocal Performance.
