I truly believe that when students are nurtured and given a comfortable space they will excel as creating music and art is vulnerable and requires the student to let go. I'm a passionate musician and instructor that recently graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance. I have been playing for 8 years and have put on three collegiate recitals. I have served in the Florida Youth Symphony's Flute Choir, and as the principal in the University Orchestra, Symphonic Band, and Flute Choir at Cedarville. I'm taking a year or two off to bolster my savings before pursuing a graduate degree in performance and going on to get a Ph.D. in musicology. Read More

Positive reinforcement is the most important tool any teacher can have in their arsonal, and I try to praise my students every time I notice imporvements and support and assure them when confronted with difficulties. I then went to Otterbein College and earned my degree in Voice. From there I started working for Music and Arts in Westerville as a piano instructor for 10 years.
