I began teaching private lessons about four years ago. Originally I used it as a means to practice teaching but I fell in love with the process and have continued ever since. I have taught at various music studios as an in-studio instructor and also as an in-home instructor. It is my goal to make each lesson enjoyable for the students. Additionally, I have produced a handout I give my guitar students, which show chord families from different keys. I teach my students how to cipher out the key of a guitar song. Once the key is correct, the student looks at the chords within that key structure and goes more or less figuring out by ear the chord changes. I use little Mozarts for children who are autistic, learning disabilities and under 5 years old. We have a wonderful time and sometimes younger children need a parent or caregiver to help them online. It is so amazing and fun to see them understand and get big smiles on their faces.
