For beginning students, I will start with standing position and breath training along with simple vocalize and songs that students like to sing. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals I will begin to introduce technical repertoire. For advanced students, I will focus on solve the students problems first, (such as jaw tension, tongue tension, body tension and breath disconnection exc.) then introduce new repertoire will help the students and develop the students to the higher and higher level. Having pursued music from a young age, my experiences as a vocal soloist and choir member have brought me all over the world, performing in such musical landmarks as the Sydney Opera House, Smetana Hall, and Carnegie Hall. I grew up learning both voice and piano, and my musical education has provided me more confidence and opportunities in all aspects of life than I ever could have imagined. I began teaching while pursuing my undergraduate degree in California and have since expanded my studio to include a wide spectrum of ages, styles, and experience levels.In 2012, I received my BA in Music with an emphasis in classical voice from Pepperdine University and have since gone on to complete my MM in Voice Performance from The Boston Conservatory. In the summer of 2009, after my freshman year of college, started what would become an annual "pop-up" voice studio of 20-30 local students in my hometown who would take weekly lessons for the duration of the summer. Long before graduation, I saw this opportunity as a one to build teaching skills, test my own knowledge, and further instill a love for music and the voice into kids from my home community. Read More

The voice technique is so important, basic, for a profesional singer, but is not the only thing you need to become a good musician/singer. My recent professional theater credits include: GYPSY (Louise) at The Covedale Center for the Arts (Nomination from The League of Cincinnati Theater for BEST ACTRESS), Title Role in MARY POPPINS at The Renaissance Theater, BRIGADOON (u/s Fiona) and THE DROWSY CHAPERONE at The Wick Theater, and Ensemble roles in SOME PEOPLE HEAR THUNDER (The Capital Repertory Theater) and MAMMA MIA (Theatre Aspen). In New York City, I was recently seen at The New York Theatre Festival in LET THERE BE LIGHT as a principal role and The New York Musical Festival as a featured vocalist. Read More
