While I aim to help students become their best, I ultimately want them to have fun above all else. I believe progress looks different for everyone, and I am very patient and happy to go over something more than once. Learning an instrument is more of a marathon than a sprint in my eyes, and I hope to guide each student on their own musical path. I am an encouraging teacher, but I help my students set realistic goals (and stretch goals!) that keep them motivated to progress in their musicianship. How our lessons progress really depends on the student in question. If they would like to pursue competitions, I am well equipped to help.
