Using historical imagery and references of the natural world that surrounds us, is very effective way to help children understand music. For younger students, I use a variety of material but very much like The Royal Conservatory Program. In the age of, "American Idol", "The Voice" and "Glee", everyone wants to be a star overnight. For older individuals, I prefer to work with their interests, and work towards their goals, through tailored lessons. There is nothing more rewarding then to see a student achieve and accomplish a goal. I believe and always positively affirming and acknowledging there accomplishments.
