When I would get frustrated with myself, she'd throw up her hands and exclaim, "let's take a break and jam!" Whether its by showing them a new genre or introducing acting through song, I want my students to be more than just singers. I want them to be PERFORMERS! I focus on ear training and vocal health when first starting with a new student, making sure they have the fundamentals for a long lasting career.
