For most of my beginning piano students, I use the piano adventures series. They offer a clear and well paced curriculum with numerous supplemental resources in a variety of styles. For beginning music theory, I use the Berklee School of Music texts or the Benward and Saker textbooks as well as many videos and other resources to explore musical concepts.  Professional engagements have been in opera, musical theatre, and concert. I have been featured in solo concert appearances in Boston Symphony Hall, San Francisco's Alcazar and Cable Car Theatres, New York's Alice Tully Hall and Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall.   In 2007, I was Quarter-Finalist on season 2 of NBC's America's Got Talent.  I returned for season 3 where I was advanced to the Semi-Finals appearing before an audience of 12 million viewers each week.
