I tailor my coaching approach to my student's needs. If the focus is on exams and recitals, I use Berklee and Tring Syllabus. I do focus more on skills: developing the Voice (developing a belted voice, head voice, or whatever is needed) and Performance, unless Music theory is requested. I start my students with standard songs, classical, Broadway, (unless a specific genre is requested) but expose my students to different genres and help them find the strength and uniqueness of their own voice. For voice lessons - I like to start with a warm-up including breathing exercises, consonants and vowels exercises, posture exercises , vocalises. It takes almost half of lesson, the rest will be dedicated to repertoire. During lesson we will learn music grammar as well. I am open to any repertoire which you are interesting in.
