My next job was in the South Brunswick public school district where I taught elementary strings and band, as well as some general music classes. I'm very passionate about teaching and love to work with all ages of students. I had a studio in Mountain Top, PA for 25 years until our family moved to Utah. I recently relocated to the Lehigh Valley. I've performed with many orchestras and have coached many students to be able to compete and perform at Carnegie Hall for many years. More than anything else, I try to grow a love for the cello and music, because without a passion, lessons can be a drag (trust me, I know!). I try to incorporate some of the student's other interests into the lessons, ie. pop music, art, even science! I also place a lot of value on progressing at the student's own pace and understanding when a student doesn't really like a particular piece, not to spend too much time on it. Read More

I am a native, grew up in South Korea. I have teaching experience for more than 15 years. I studied master of degree in music and taught the Cello in New York. After I got married, I moved to South Jersey so I am looking for students around here. I am very happy to teach students with my all experiences and knowledge from Korea(some particular,strict, and unique things how to play better) and moreover things what i learned here with great musicians.
