I volunteered there for 5 years and fell in love with imparting young people with a deeper understanding and appreciation of music. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! I find it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. After my undergraduate was completed, I began working at a franchised music eduction school for a year and a half. I had 20 students ranging from keyboard, drums, vocals, and I also was a Show Director for the various shows put on each season.
