Ive performed professionally in several bands on multiple instruments in the past 10 years, and Ive also done a good bit of studio work from composition and recording, to producing, to mastering. From this I began taking on elementary age kids and grew to about 10 students a week in New York before leaving for Berklee. I have taught and performed for many Berklee Summer Programs including Basslines, Vocal Workshop, Stage Performance Workshop and Five Week. My method involves a mixture of exercises and musical application. It is important for our development as musicians to understand what we are doing on both a technical and mechanical level. However, it is equally important to keep what we are doing relatable to the music that we want to play. Keeping lessons fun and engaging is a big part of seeing results.
