Hello! I am a 22-year-old drummer and graduate of Belmont University's School of Music. I've been playing drums for the last 12 years all while playing local shows, touring, and teaching others how to do the same thing. I'm originally from a small town in rural southern Minnesota where I was in the marching band, jazz bands, and choirs as well as playing in a touring band with my friends. My method involves a mixture of exercises and musical application. It is important for our development as musicians to understand what we are doing on both a technical and mechanical level. However, it is equally important to keep what we are doing relatable to the music that we want to play. Keeping lessons fun and engaging is a big part of seeing results.
