While at Slippery Rock University, I assisted in the jazz camp held every year for high schoolers around the state. In high school I won two downbeat awards for best pop/rock drummer (2004) and outstanding performance for jazz drumming (2005). In high school I played in various touring groups, and started Berklee in 2009.
