I have played in venues from small coffee houses to The Paramount in Huntington, NY.  I have played in many groups and ensembles as a premier performer and, of course, as part of the "tutti".  I have studied under Micheal Bellajonas at Suffolk County Community College and Jerry Willard at Stony Brook University in my classical guitar studies.  I maintain a violin/guitar duet with my wife, who is on her way to becoming a music educator.  I've taught all different types of students and am very open and patient to everyone's needs. Teaching music has always been my number one passion and lifetime goal. Playing a musical instrument (including voice) is empowering and enriches the soul. I enjoy teaching all levels and welcome beginners with no previous musical training. Practicing is the most important regimen a student must learn and while it requires dedication and hard work, practicing your instrument should always be a pleasant and satisfying experience. I began teaching over the summer of 2010. While attending Berklee, I had countless one-on-one and small group sessions with fellow drummers where we would bounce ideas off one another and give each other "mini lessons," breaking down specific grooves and licks. In October, 2014, I led an hour-long master class for other Berklee percussion students about advanced polyrhythmic concepts and applications.
