For beginner students, patience will be vital for overcoming the independence element of controlling both hands and feet. For intermediate students, patience will be needed to advance their technique with practicing rudiments. Once I was in high school I performed with the majority of our groups including; symphonic band, concert band, jazz band, marching band drumline, and our indoor percussion drumline and my senior year I was section leader for our drumline and concert groups. During my high school career I performed in many WGI contest and finals with our indoor percussion.
