I'm a friendly and passionate instructor who loves working with students of all ages. In 2016, I graduated from Newcastle University with a Bachelor of Arts degree with in Drum Performance. Between 2014-16, I led a funk/fusion and salsa ensemble each consisting of 10-12 members and toured the UK and America's East Coast. In 2016, I did the Independent Artist programme from Musician's Institute where I learnt more about Music Business, Recording and Production, which helped me understand how to make it as a drummer in real life once you attain a certain skill level. I have taught for over twenty years to all ages and levels. I teach the fun way by teaching the student what they would like to know by tailoring each lesson to fit there personal goals, needs and questions. This school has now grown to be the birthplace of many great young Swedish musicians, included myself. Already working on pro-gigs in Sweden, I made a different choice than most of my friends. Instead I decided to move, by myself, from Sweden to Los Angeles and become a professional drummer. When I moved to LA, I was in dire need to get a gig. Let me tell you. We then work towards those songs, in a step by step gradual process. Along the way fundamentals about rhythm, the musical alphabet and theory are taught within the context of the song we are learnning. I have been teaching guitar and drums since August of 2012. I started by teaching my friend's kids on the drums, ages 5 and 10. I also gave guitar lessons to adults of different ages, ranging from 20s to 80s. This includes a position as a Recreation Instructor for the City of Los Angeles.
