I graduated from Free Will Baptist Bible Collage and took my flute lessons at Belmont University. I have had the privilege of playing with several groups including; the Tupelo MS symphony orchestra, Belmont orchestra, the Belmont Opera company, the Nashville Philharmonic and the Philharmonic flute choir. Above all else, music is supposed to be fun. I want my students to be excited about learning new things each week. Music is also a collaborative practice, so I think it is important for the student and the teacher to play together in a supportive environment to help reaffirm the week's lesson.
