My teaching style requires the students to be consistent with their practice and warm ups, which helps to make lessons more efficient and allow students to see faster improvement. My teaching style can most accurately be described as patient and creative. Music should be fun. The student should enjoy practicing.  It is my job to create a lesson plan that allows a student to progress steadily, without straining the limits of their abilities. For age 0-4, I have opened Zumbini program for those babies and their caregivers. My piano lessons start at age 4. For those beginner students, I use Piano Adventures from Faber and Faber, typically focused on lesson books, performance books and theory books. When students move on to the higher levels, I will start to introduce easy classical repertoire, such as J.S. Bach or Bergermuller. If students have specific interests or preferred genre, I will encourage to explore them and help them along the way. Read More
