I want my students to learn the basic techniques on how to use their vocal chords, where to place their voices, how to memorize, how to hold the mic, how to emcee, how to phrase, express, improvise which really needs time in learning. I began teaching music when I was 18, I began teaching private drums and piano lessons in my home studio, I've been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 7 years. Upon graduation, I got my first music teacher position at Rishon Lezion conservatory, I taught private saxophone, flute, drums, and piano lessons as well as group music theory lessons and directed students ensembles. For beginner students I start with chord shapes. We'll learn what notes are in the chord, where to find the root note of the chord everywhere on the fret board and how to play that chord in multiple postions. Then we work on switching chords in basic progressions and later we move onto scales. For my intermediate students its more about technique and theory. We'll focus heavily on scales and modes and their relationship to each other. Read More

It is very important to know your way around the instrument, so I will touch upon basic things such as the parts of a guitar, the names of the strings, how to know where you are on the fretboard, etc. From here I will proceed to develop the student's technique so they feel comfortable enough to begin playing scales and chords.
