It's unfortunate when students become frustrated too quickly in the process and decide to quit out of frustration. I received a Master’s degree in Music from the Boyer College of Music in Philadelphia, PA in 2015 for Vocal Performance. Before that, I graduated from the National Music Academy of Ukraine named after P.I. Tchaikovsky in Kiev in 2013, where I received a Bachelor in Music, took parts in a lot of operas ("Le nozze di Figaro", "Eugene Onegin", "Faust") and also earned a certificate of teaching. I began teaching in 2015 as a percussion mentor at an elementary school while in college. Upon graduation, I joined a community ensemble and taught masterclasses to community members on a variety of topics such as rhythm, musical interpretation, and stick control.
