While teaching private lessons to students across Kentucky I also was a music theory tutor for my peers at Morehead. I like to create very clear imagery that builds over time. The voice is not something we can see or touch, so I often joke that singing is about learning Jedi mind tricks that help us achieve a healthy technique. I like to incorporate theory/musicianship and some piano into my lessons to create a well rounded understanding of singing as a musician. I like to use the music that each student loves, which allows them to learn while still keeping things fun and interesting. Read More
