I teach both reading music with theory and ear training. I typically have students begin by playing something they are comfortable with that they enjoy, and we go from there. I am comfortable teaching a variety of methods and like to help the student achieve their individual goals, whatever those may be. I have played in numerous orchestras, even jazz bands. As well as playing alongside the president's very own Marine Quartet in 2013 and 2014. I have had the chance to take master classes from Professor Susanna Klein at Virginia Commonwealth University and to perform side by side with Mark Wood, his wife and son! When I was 8-years-old my father gave me his old guitar. From then on I spent most of my free time playing and learning music. I enrolled in structured lessons when I was 12 until I went to Berklee College of Music for a year's time. Afterwards I decided that I wanted to dedicate my spare time to music and not make a professional career out of it.
