Clarinet is a wonderful instrument. It is not at all difficult to produce "a sound" on it. Producing a good sound, though, requires some work. Therefore, working on the sound quality is my first priority. Musicality is overall the most essential concept in music performance. Acknowledging their progress is what is going to move them forward and continue to learn and practice more.
