Instruments: Voice
While gaining my Bachelor's degree in Music for Vocal Music Education, I gained experience teaching private lessons, musical theatre coaching, as well as large group music classes with students ranging from Kindergarten to College. With this range of students, I've found a great balance of having fun with learning great work ethic and professionalism. Students will grow as singers and performers through consistent lessons and daily individual practice working on everything from singing basics and vocal health to stage presence and interpretation. Instruments: Drums Orchestral Percussion
Seeing a student progress week by week and really come into their own is why I do this. I want the students to not only know how to play grooves, fills, songs, etc... I want them to actually build on the foundation they have and create new Revenues to expand on. Creativity is a big focus but you have to know the basics to really pull out all the cool tricks of the trade. Read More
Instruments: Piano Voice
I have been teaching private lessons for 15 years and have loved every minute of it! I began just teaching piano instruction when I first started out, but as I went through college, I added voice to my instructional practices. I really encourage my students to take my 20 minute challenge: 20 minutes a day for 5 days. That equals 100 minutes a practice a week and will cause you as the student to see AMAZING results in your skill and proficiency. Read More

I'm a 20 college student majoring at finance but with a passion for guitar. I've been playing since I was ten years old and teaching since I was 17. I've had great success with the students who truly want to learn and have found it to be less and less challenging to get the students passionate about playing as well. This is the key in practicing and I feel that many teachers overlook that fact. Read More
Instruments: Violin Saxophone Music
I start all students with getting a firm grasps of the basics of tone production and air support. I do this through long tone exercises as well as scale work to start learning more notes on the instrument. I focus on slowing incorporating more dynamics, articulation, and time signatures from there. I then start to tailor instruction to goals the student has, whether that be for a school ensemble, a solo performance, or other musical goal such has playing in a gigging band. Read More

I began teaching years ago and have pursued it off and on over the years. I have taught in students homes as well as my own home. I encourage everyone to try to learn an instrument as an outlet for creativity. Practice is as deep as you want to make it, but if you are looking for serious improvement and development I suggest at least 30-60 min a day. However, any amount of playing and practicing is encouraged! Read More
