I trained at St Annes high school and the Calcutta school of music, India, where I studied under the then principal Fauzia Marikar. I started teaching private lessons while I was in High School. I consistently taught lessons for 6 years during late high school and through college, with as many as 18 students in my studio. I have taught in music stores, in students homes, as well as at church. I have begun teaching again for the last 2 years in my home and in my students homes.
