For beginning students who are children I use varying method books such as Faber, Bastian, Leonard etc. These method books do a wonderful job of progressing the student naturally and gradually which is my style of teaching. For beginner piano students, I have two methods books that I use. For young children, I use the Bastion Piano Basics series. It is colorful, fun, and exciting for young learners. It is also very informative, so parents can help their young ones practice if they need the help! For beginning adult students, I use the Faber Adult Piano Adventures series, as this is more tailored to older students.
