I teach speech skills acquisition from a kinesthetic and descriptive basis rather than an arbitrary linguistic standard, in order to respect the individual and focus on what is fundamentally useful to the artistic process— “the ability to adapt”. My role is to add to a student's repertoire of skills, not to diminish the student's sense of what is appropriate or possible on stage. For piano, I typically use Bastien and/ or Hal Leonard. I recently graduated from NYU with a master's in vocal performance, concentrating in musical theatre, and an advanced certificate in vocal pedagogy. My participation in choral and theatre ensembles has taken me around the world practicing my passion and mastering my craft. Ive been teaching consistently for 10 years now. I taught all ages, from kindergarten kids to people over 60, kids with special needs, one on one classes, ensembles, full classrooms, and high school. If there's one thing that I learned throughout my career is that very student has a unique voice, so every voice needs to be approached in a unique way.
