I received my Doctor of Musical of Arts in voice from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 2016. Most of the students I've taught have had a background in music through singing in choirs, etc. Other students have had a limited musical background. At whatever the ability level or background, I always try to introduce appropriate solo repertoire to which the student can relate, as well as introducing songs that will aid in teaching proper vocal technique and proper diction.
