I gained international recognition as a vocal performer of note, having performed on the stages of Acapulco, Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore, Aruba, Curacao and Buenos Aires, to name a few, as well as major U. S. cities. To date, I have two albums to my credit, "Time Wounds All Heels" and "The 23rd Psalm", the latter containing the highly acclaimed title song that while being performed at the 1984 National Baptist Convention musical in Los Angeles, received a standing ovation by some 6,000 listeners. My teaching style is based on traditional classical approach of Russian Piano teaching method. For younger, beginner level student lessons are structured around different activities and games (for very young students) to learn notes reading and rhythm. For intermediate and more advanced students each lesson starts with a warm up, of scales, arpeggios, etudes or other technical pieces. After that we move onto working on individual pieces of music. For beginning students, we work on breathing and different warm up techniques. Once the student has progressed we will then start solo repertories for different genres. For adults, I try to research what insterest the student has in signing and guide my instruction towards the interest of the student so it can be fun. Read More

With the beginning students I use Alfred and Bastien piano instructional books. Also, the children simultaneously learn to read notes and understand music notation. In my teaching method the goal is to combine high level of technique with musicality and individual interpretation. The beginners’ lessons are systematized as a successful blend of fun musical games and new academic material, thus learning new is fun and inspiring. I am a very passionate musician, with a love for passing on the gift of music. I graduated from Shepherd University in 2012 with a BA in Voice Performance. I then went on to complete an MM and GPD in Opera from The Longy School of Music of Bard College.
