These are all songs that can be played and sung simply and most students have heard them already! In my Freshman year of high school, I began voice lessons with my teacher and mentor, Paula Brown, who happened to be an Operatic Lyric Coloratura. I like to use the 24 Italian Songs and Arias (Italian Art Songs) book as a basis for learning breath technique, legato, use of vowels and musicality, as well as being exposed to a foreign language.
