I began teaching toward the end of my graduate studies at Georgia State University where I received my Master of Music degree. Teaching provides me with an opportunity to share my love of music with those who want to learn to become better vocalists. My number one goal is to help my students accomplish their musical dreams, whether that be a classical pianist, a pop singer, the front person for a rock band, write songs or compose music for film, or just sing their favorite song of all time, whatever it takes, I will make sure that we get to the musical destination. It's important that each student progresses at their own pace. He  is the head of the Instrumental department at Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington DC. He pretty much sparked the idea of education in music for me.
