I love sharing what I've learned about singing through my decades as a Professor at Berklee College of Music, Boston. Berklee is the #1 college that teaches Commercial Music (mostly Jazz and Pop). Currently I sing a combination of pop and classical in church as well as teach fitness in Encinitas. I have written books on singing and American diction as well as having recorded with symphonies and jazz bands. I knew I wanted to be a music teacher as early as elementary school. I began my teaching experience as a Kindermusik educator; teaching music and movement to children birth -7 years old. I did this for 10 years before moving on to class room music, where I taught basic music theory at the young elementary level. During this time I began teaching private voice lessons in my home. I focus on several different areas for every student, so that he/she can keep progressing in all areas of technic and musical knowledge: WARM-UPs, SCALES, MUSIC THEORY, SIGHTREADING, and PREPARED PIECES.
