Instruments: Drums

I began teaching lessons over five years ago. I never pictured myself being an educator, but I was surprised how fulfilling it was. I encourage hard work and consistent practice, but try to craft my excercizes to that the student will be fully interested and engaged. It is truly rewarding to watch a student grow and develop as result of our work together. I try to adapt each students' lessons to fir their interests. Read More

I have been professionally playing drums for almost 15 years and teaching professionally for 10. I have toured the country opening up for major label bands and artists. I have played drums for numerous bands and artists including Grammy winning and nominated artists for Audiomack's Trap Symphony. Instruments: Piano Voice Drums

For young students, I would usually start them off using Bastien Piano Basics. It's very digestible, and gives a good starting-off point for both technical playing, and larger musical concepts as a whole. With a student who is older or perhaps more advanced, who has a solid grasp on technical proficiency and music theory, I would typically recommend studying specific pieces, starting with Classical, and eventually moving into Jazz. I feel that following a chronological study of music is one of the best ways to become a well-rounded, versatile player who feels comfortable approaching any material. Read More

Instruments: Piano Guitar Voice Drums

I love to have fun in my lessons. No single student understands the same thing the same way so I take the time to listen/understand them as a person and as a musician. While it would be wonderful if all of my students became virtuosi musicians, I understand that sometimes math class may be at the forefront of their attention. That said, practice is still required. Like a doctor, I prescribe solutions to students to help them achieve their goals and will do everything I can to help them to succeed but if they dont take the remedy, success is can be quite slow. Instruments: Voice Drums

The greatest feeling is seeing my students build a stronger passion and appreciation for the art form! It's crucial for me that students are reminded that progression is made at his or her own pace. A common thing I notice from students is that some feel that others around them may seem to be ahead of them. It's important to me to encourage students to feel very comfortable and relaxed at their level so that they understand that they are not late or early, but on their right timing. Read More

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm.
