I believe that my principal role as a teacher is to inspire. If I fail to inspire the student, none of the concepts or exercises I teach will bear any fruit. And so I ensure that our lessons consist of lots of musical moments with instruction, feedback, follow up, and accountability built into the lesson time at moments when it will be motivating and not intimidating. I approach teaching like nursing a baby ,u care for the baby,u feed the baby when hungry,u cover the babies body from catching cold , you teach the baby how to eat ,u hug the baby when he or she start crying, when she wants to go put her hand in the fire u stop her and tell her in advance what she’s going to experience.when she’s 18 you start to tell her to set goals and always drive hard to achieve them ,you tell her to never give up and be distracted by boys,you’d tell to always keep learning in life because the day you stop learning you start dying. I am a dedicated working musician currently playing and recording with many local artists. I take pride in my ability to play drums in many musical situations, and I think it adds greatly to my ability to teach many different musical styles.
