Hi! I'm a drummer and composer from the south of France, I've been teaching drums from more than 10 years and I love it! I graduated from two different schools, one in France focusing on what we call "amplified music" which are all the modern style of music: Rock, Pop, Soul, Funk, Metal, Reggae etc... and the other school in Spain focusing on Jazz drumming performance. In NYC I have played and recorded with many great musicians, including Rasul Siddik, Avram Fefer, Michael Attias, Adam Lane, and more recently with Jean Paul Bourelly, Mark Peterson, Burton Greene and Jon Sass. My collaboration with Reut Regev spans over a decade long, and throughout the years we have worked intensively in Duo, Trio, Quartet and Quintet formats, playing original compositions and covers. I am not a strict sort of teacher, I like to talk about what we are learning, show musical examples, play examples and generally just have a good flow in class. I presently am a show group member of Samba New York where I am section leader for the third surdo section. I play many Brazilian percussion instruments as well. I am also the section leader of the North Shore Symphony Orchestra and the Massapequa Philharmonic Orchestra where I play timpani.
