Hi! I am passionate about music instruction and inspiring students to find passions within themselves. I led the musical theater program at Trinity Catholic Middle School for two years, have sung and acted plays at Curtain Call, and even helped produce the Boston Pops Fireworks spectacular last year. I studied Music Business at NYU and am in two bands that have played throughout the New York City area. I am passionate about various styles of playing from folk to rock to blues to you name it! I'm an Argentinian/American musician who decided to pursue music as a career when I was 8 years old. I had just seen Al Green perform at the Apollo and was awed by the incredible impact and joy music can have on people. With the support of my parents, who are musicians as well, I began studying with private teachers immediately. By the time I was 11, I was performing consistently in venues in Buenos Aires. Although I am strict and demanding, I am a very positive and encouraging teacher. I wan to be inspiring, but also help the student to become self disciplined. I think self discipline is one of the most important thing when it comes to career and achievements. I also try to higher their expectations and push them to be more ambitious and more confident about their capability and skills. Read More

Over years of experience in extremely disparate teaching environments, I have developed a teaching method designed to accommodate learners of all backgrounds and abilities. My teaching method has been workshopped through countless hours of 1on1 and classroom instruction, pedagogical research, student feedback and peer review, and study of industry best practices. The central values of my teaching method are: 1) Celebrating the unique qualities, talents, and aspirations of each of my students. 2) Curating musical curiosity, passion, resilience, wonder, and discipline 3) Helping my students develop a lifelong engagement with music Read More

Beginners - intermediate have a healthy helping of both theory ( notes, scales, chords), technique ( physical drills), and creativity! Meaning, songwriting, listening, learning favorite songs.. improvisation! This of course varies from student to student, but whatever they are physically and mentally able to handle at the time, is what we will embark on -- nothing challenging enough to keep anyone away from their chosen instrument -- it's supposed to be fun - 'PLAY"ing music! I think being well rounded is important with music and one thing that I've noticed is building on what the student is interested in. Started off with materials builds important fundamentals, but if my student is nodding off to sleep, then I'm not doing my job. I'll begin by setting a goal and seeing what the student is interested in (i.e. what band/song would they like to learn about?) From there, I'll set a realistic goal (Flight of the Bumblebee can't and shouldn't be the first song on guitar that you learn) and we'll learn the techniques, structure, and music theory that exists in a certain song. Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
