The first book of Suzuki is taught mainly by ear, while in the background I am also teaching rhythm with the Essential Elements material. For students who are beginning their guitar journey, I like to start with the basic fundamentals of guitar, such as teaching them the body of the guitar (head stock, tuning pegs, string names, frets, how to hold and use a pick, etc.).
