I started teaching in high school. I was a successful performer, so people started asking if I teach. I studied and took online classes to strengthen my musical and vocal knowledge as a 16-year-old. I started teaching and built a successful 20-person studio in California for two years. Because of my time at the Frost School of Music, I have built a studio in Miami as well. A big part of my teaching is music appreciation and connecting my student's passions with new musical knowledge. Read More

I first started teaching violin in high school as a part of the Music Buddies Program, where high school students in the top orchestra would pair with elementary and middle school children in the area who could not afford private lessons. In the past few years, I have taught students of all ages, from just 4 years old, all the way to 76 years old! I love teaching as I am always learning something new from my own students. Read More

I believe that my style is really flexible. I think that everybody has a different way to learn so my style will vary based on the student. I also believe that the role of the teacher should the one of facilitating the student process but ultimately is the student who should dictate the style and the pace of the lesson. I believe also that listening is a really important part of music learning so I have my student listening to a lot of different music and also I play with them all the time so that they can hear and feel what is it to play together.
