I currently teach out of my home studio and I have been a guitar teacher on electric guitar,acoustic and bass guitar for 29 years. I teach all styles, rock,blues,jazz,classical,funk,r and b,country and have taught all age groups from beginners to advanced. My method of teaching puts emphasis on the keyboard fundamentals that develop sound piano technique. I use a systematic approach in which the student progresses from their present level, whatever it may be, beginner, intermediate, or advanced, to their next level in a reasonable time. For students at the beginning or intermediate-beginning levels, I would choose from the Faber, Albert, Leonard, or Thompson piano methods.  I always give the student after each lesson a method of practice for the music/lessons required. My teaching experience spans 6 years. I've taught all ages, so I'm comfortable with everybodys learning pace. In college I studied under the Latin Grammy award winning La Catrina Quartet, and I hope to pass down the knowledge I gain from that experience to my students.
